Crayons..as a momma and a 1st grade teacher I ALWAYS have crayons in my purse…So today as the boys are getting settled for the message at church I begin to dig for the crayons..much to my dismay I retrieve only ONE green crayon. mmmmm??? strange.
Our guest speaker begins the message with pictures and testimony of how desperate for Jesus the people of Indonesia and Malaysia are. He shows a brief clip and speaks of the children of these countries and how many of them are praying for others around the world to KNOW Jesus. While the clip plays Jake sleeps soundly in my lap and Tucker begins to sing along with the children in the video. It was one of those “my cup runneth over moments”….I grab a pencil to jot down a prayer of gratitude and wonder of what the Lord may be up to. The speaker concludes the message with a reminder of the SOVEREIGNTY of God and how none of us present were there by accident.
Back to the crayon……..Jason begins to gather the boys belongings.. he has the ONE green crayon in his hand…. I go to take the crayon from him but his grip remains tight I look at him and he looks back to the crayon tracing with his other hand the words “Made in Malaysia”
WoW!
