isn’t it the time of the year for most season finales anyway??
today was our oldest little fella’s season finale as a Kindergartner
it was perfect
they quoted the 23rd Psalm
sang praise to our Lord
prayed and played together
our cup runneth over as we watched from the stands
tomorrow is it for me
my season finale as a public educator
my dream job
yet here I am
twelve and a half years later
walking away
nameplate in hand
trading one title in for another
a title that’s not posted above my door
but stamped on my heart
“momma”
sad?

why?
friends
this has been the best SEASON yet!!
although the previews for next season look VERY INTERESTING…….
so stay tuned….
