the brevity of life
it was at this same dear friend’s mother’s funeral
in November
that a new sense of urgency came upon me
a realization
that we don’t have time to be petty
we need to right-wrongs
to share love with the unlovely
and hate sin
not sinners
REALLY walk our talk
tonight we completed an AmAZing spiritual gift study
one of the life lessons we ended with
was how we must
shift our thinking from
temporal to eternal
ponder this with me for a moment…
really.
how much of your
time
money
and energy
are spent on things that are
eternal??
dictionary.com defines
e·ter·nal
[ih-tur-nl] Show IPA
with that definition in mind
revisit and consider your priorities or
“to-do” list today
were your resources spent primarily on things
temporal or eternal?
please note
I am “noting to self”
the words of this post
because I am a sinner
no better or worse than any of you
just
saved by God’s AMAZING grace
and it is by His grace that I am able to share and
encourage you to make
this day count
to make
the choices, words, and deeds of this day
eternal
so that one day
when we all stand
and we will
because
and
I want Him
to be pleased
and say to me
“well done thy good and faithful servant..”
don’t you?
