The “piddlin'” post
rendered some very interesting feedback
so before we veer too far from the subject
I want to make a prediction and a promise:
Pop’s annual family reunion
is a week from tomorrow.
and for any true southerners
you know that
Sunday afternoon+reunion =
some really GOOD eatin’!
especially this time of year..
fresh cream corn
tomatoes
yummy fruit cobblers
and hopefully
(cross your fingers)
some homemade ice cream
gosh….I must need a snack!
my prediction:
at this reunion
there will be many of the “Master Piddlers”
and not only will there be
piddlin’
and whittlin’
there will be lots of
“squattin'”
my promise:
to make every possible effort to catch the perfect shot
of the “Master Piddlers”
squattin’ while whittlin’
thus an action shot of “piddlin'”
in what I believe
will be captured in it’s purest form.
and you know what they say?
