look what I found yesterday
in the barnyard
by the watering trough!
now.
you may ask.
what’s the big deal?
well..
I’ll tell you.
Over the last few weeks
as we seek ways to honor Him
Cowboy Dan and I have been praying specifically for wisdom
and for His direction
with some of our financial concerns
particularly
with upcoming insurance changes
because we believe that if we will

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

PROVERBS 3:5PROVERBS 3:6

So we asked the Lord to direct us
to those who will offer wise counsel,
to affirm us
and remind us that

MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY BY CHRIST JESUS.
PHILIPPIANS 4:19

once again
in His Sovereign ways
He is faithful.
and if finding this money out in the barnyard
wasn’t enough to WOW! me
look at this devotion that I read just hours after finding the money!
the title:
Mysterious Invisibility
the storyline:
We often experience the dramatic effects of things no one can see.
The Holy Spirit works powerfully, though invisibly.
now hang on because..
here are the exact words from the devotion
that almost knocked my feet out from under me…
“We can see the wind’s effects~
flags flapping, DEBRIS flying
but we cannot see the wind itself.
It works in mysterious invisibility.”
the writer went on to say and reference:
“The wind was a tangible demonstration
to the early Christians
 that the unseen Spirit
was at work in their lives.
If you are a follower of Christ,
be encouraged.
The Holy Spirit bears fruit in your life (Galatians 5:23)
and ASSURES you of God’s presence (I John 3:24)”
AWESOME?!!
I think so.
*******
AND YOU THOUGHT WE WERE THROUGH!!!!!!
just now
as I was about to click “publish”
I remembered something
that’s going to knock the wind out of you
 so if you are standing
 sit down.
look what bestie found and I bought at a thrift store on Wednesday .
the day JUST before I found the money in the barnyard!!!

the very verse I mentioned above
AWESOME
and SOVEREIGN.
