greetings from Indiana!!
tonight Cowboy Dan and the little rascals
are holding down the fort
because
I am far from the home front
on a short term mission trip
in Cloverdale, Indiana
assisting some precious friends
who visited our church
 back in the spring
sweet
Stan and Gloria.
they collect various goods
such as
clothes
school supplies
toys
toiletries etc.
pack them in LARGE cargo
and ship them to
Haiti…
sharing goodies
 and
the LOVE of Jesus
with those in
desperate need
physical, tangible and spiritual
need
confession:
I have been here less than six hours
and have had to fight the
ugly cry
several times
why?
because I am blessed.
ridiculously BLESSED.
blessed to be here
to LIVE IN AMERICA
where we are still FREE
and live with crazy ABUNDANCE
just today
the Lord blessed me
 with safe travels
with humble friends
who LOVE our Savior
and have a desire
to serve
along side
other humble servants
in Indiana
who are willing
and ready to meet needs
around the world
whatever the need
 whether to
ship BIG BOXES
or
put candy into Ziploc bags
to share with children
across the ocean
with the hope
of sharing the Gospel and eternity
with them as well
today I was humbly reminded
of how there is
SOO much more
to this life
and
tonight
once more..
my cup runneth over
PRAISE the Lord from whom all blessings flow
it is well

  1. Indiana has been blessed to have you all here! Thank you so much for leaving your family to come do my job 😉 I know Ben (and Stan) loved having you guys here. In the 10 years we’ve been helping with this, I don’t remember ever having such an emotional, prayerful, awesome “closing of the doors!”…seriously, what are you doing the second week of October?!!

  2. THANK YOU Missy for having us! I praise the Lord for opportunity to come and serve alongside you! I REALLY want to come back! Is that the tentative date to pack the Christmas bags? PLease keep me posted~I will be meeting with Pastor David Sunday and we will be discussing future trips/plans and I would LOVE to get a team back up here to assist. I also want to know if there is a spot for me to go to Haiti. When u know a number let me know please :O)
