I’m the oldest of three
many of you know and love
sister banker and sister nurse
I cherish them.
I write of them often
speak to them daily
we share the good
the bad
and the ugly
with each other
today when sister and I discussed
a leaky tire
a dead lawn mower battery
our childrens’ learning styles and challenges
the cost of the “extracurriculars”
work at home
corporate work
grocery list
falling leaves
and LIFE
wished each other the BEST for the evening
and hung up
I remembered
in that moment how THANKFUL I am for
sisters.
