when did that happen??

to bring you up to speed

two decades ago

this country girl

met a skinny cowboy

we fell mushy, gushy in love

dated 4 years

married

10 blissful years later

we were blessed with

24 months later

we were surprised by

my heartache for home

to be with our little rascals

fast becoming unbearable

fast-forward to

January 2012

the decision for me

to leave the corporate world,

the public school arena

come home

to mother and teach OURS

insert a casual conversation Cowboy Dan+me+ friends

late summer of last year

chit-chatting possibilities &

“whats if’s”

add to the equation a few months of steadfast prayer

and WAHLAH!
