from Indiana, to Haiti, to Moldova, to Indonesia, to Fort Peirce, Florida, to The Dominican Republic and back to Fort Payne

Each story INSPIRING

reminding us

reminding

me

of why we are here

this brings me back to

“EVERYBODY’S A 10 AT SOMETHING!”

guess what?

GOD GAVE YOU THOSE ABILITIES & GIFTS

for a PURPOSE!

TO GLORIFY HIM!

to bring others TO HIM through YOUR GIFTEDNESS!!

I would like to add to that “Whatever you are or do, DO IT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!”

although I would love to be

The Pioneer Woman and live out west and wear flowy, floral shirts

I am NOT the PIONEER WOMAN

and I treasure what I have learned so far about Jen Maker, the author of 7 and I wish I were organized enough to write 9 books in 8 years while mothering 5 children

I am NOT Jen Hatmaker

and we ALL know how much I ADORE my mother

and I dream of being precious and thoughtful and SELFLESS like her when I grow up

I am NOT my mother

I am Karmen

a sinful, FORGIVEN woman who TALKS TOO MUCH

wife to the man of my dreams (most days-hehe)

mother of two freckle faced, cuties

a former public school teacher now stay-at-home- homeschool mom (full of typos and run-on sentences)

small business owner who is learning more about pesticides than I E.V.E.R knew there was to know

that loves to talk (have I already mentioned that??!)

meet new people, encourage & exhort

so what am I doing with my giftedness and/or talents?

I’m in the game. I am in it to win it! GIVING HIM MY ALL on my mission field, which for now, is my home.  My NUMERO UNO!

the heartbeat of my daily prayers is for my children to come to know HIM as SAVIOR.  My other passion, near and dear, is sharing what Christ has done in our lives with the world.  So those who have no knowledge of God may come to know Him.   By his grace I will continue obey when it doesn’t make sense.  Stepping out in faith as my Shepherd leads.

Because

All to thee my blessed Savior, I surrender all.
