“Do you want to be made well?” JUMPED OFF the page

how gracious of Him to ask the sick man

“Do you want to be made well?”

Do you?? do I??  want to be made well?  hearts, made well??  relationships, made well?   strongholds, made well??

many pose and say things are well.

“How are you?”

“Oh, fine.” and yet so many are not fine.  Lots are NOT FINE.   hurting. sick. mad. sad. lonely.

“Do you want to be made well?”

The sick man in John 5 had been “in that condition” a long time.

How long have you been “in that condition”?   This familiar passage ..was different today.  Maybe it will be for you as well.  If you haven’t read John 5:1-23 in a while or ever, please do.  It’s good stuff y’all.  The stuff that really matters.  Not all the other stuff we get caught up in..you know??  the stuff that won’t matter at all in the end.

are you well?  Can you honestly say?….”It is well with my soul.” I hope so.  I pray so.  and if not,

there is grace.  His grace. Amazing grace.

Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.

walk

Just like that.  Jesus said it.  He believed it and walked.

 sick set FREE!
Please don’t misunderstand me.  I know it’s not always that easy.. but then…sometimes it is.

And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.

And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured,

“It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”

11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.”

My prayer

“Lord make us well.  I want to be made well. I believe You are the Savior, the Healer, the Great Comforter, Restorer.  Make us well. Forgive us of our sin.. Our sick hearts, bad attitudes, strongholds that are not pleasing to You.  Cleanse us Father. Make us well…By Your grace may we be “made well” so that we may “take up our bed and walk”  FOR YOU.

Amen….

Love y’all
