“I’m a glass half full”… Keep on the sunny side..”Don’t borrow trouble.” no worries” kinda gal most days …tonight I can’t sleep. I gotta work some of this stuff OUT. Talk it out.. Get IT OUT! The cowboy is too tired and heard too many of my words today .. I must let him sleep .. he’s met his for better or worse quota this week.. instead tonight I’m gonna SCREAM OUT LOUD at my keyboard as I sort through some of life’s tough junk that’s heavy on my heart…
A disclaimer would probably be fitting here …but ain’t nobody got time for that!
In the last six days I’ve attended a funeral, noted multiple other deaths, murder and suicide, heard of “cancer” too often – too close to home, spent time with some truly troubled loved ones, hugged some very lonely people, abused, depressed, looked into sad eyes broken over the effects of alcohol … I could go on and on but I won’t …
Today I heard the humble heart of someone I will refer to as a “special friend” ..This “special friend” has been dealt a really tough hand …when I say a tough hand I mean the kind of hand that would make most grown men “fold” in half a heartbeat..
Bear with me a second- Negative Nancy has something to say… We live in a fallen world. Life is hard & unfair. People get sick. Loved ones leave. Mean is alive. Hate is real.
But guess what??
God wins.
BE ENCOURAGED! we already know the end of this story y’all
The day is coming when all sickness will cease.
Commitments will stand.
LOVE WILL PREVAIL.
If you have said “YES! I am a sinner in need of a Savior”, “YES! I believe Jesus is the Son of God ” “It is ONLY through His blood and by His grace that I am made right with God”, “YES! I want Jesus to be the boss of my life-Lord OVER ALL”..
then my friend,
Heaven is yours!

it will either be
DEPART or WELL DONE…..
Much love & prayers
Amen, sister! Well said. This has been a week of struggle in my mind, but I know He’s pushing me along in new ways. The time is now to receive His love, speak His love, and make the choice to turn to Him in every moment.
Wow! Amen! my heart’s cry also. I think every Christian is experiencing this now. Sometimes it is overwhelming and we have to cry out. When we realize what Isaiah 40 says we will hand it over to Him our Creator who can make all things right. Rest in Him, waiting for our redemption. Hardest part is not being able to do things to help on our own, knowing what to say, wanting to reach out and make it all right ourselves. Leaning on the everlasting Arms is the Only way to keep our sanity and strength somedays. Glory to His Name! Jesus is our All in All.
