country kids are cute…
when they are gathering apples for the pigs

or playing in the dirt at the barn

and especially when
 they dress as a super hero
to go and help
Cowboy Dan feed

and how excited they get
 when new chicks arrive

or they win a trophy
 at the county fair
 for their PRIZE chicken

 and when they taste test
the apples for the pigs 

or chill by the campfire

or do their best
to pull their weight
 in the HOT, HOT hayfield

or bring in the BIG catch of the day

or share a summertime snack 

or a winter ride
and for goodness sake could they BE any cuter
than when they look at you like THIS?!

nope.
nothings cuter than a
country kid
asleep in a wagon
on a long summer trail ride

well except for when
you catch a fishin’ lesson like this

or a gun show like this


for sure.
