full of wonder

whew…I’m winded

the last several days

have been filled with a whirlwind

of events and emotions

a week ago tonight

I was an emotional wreck

crying at the drop of a hat

and all out of sorts

because my nearest and dearest friends

were returning to work

and I wasn’t

Monday went better than I hoped

once I got through the morning

Tuesday I was too distracted

with packing

for Wednesday’s trip

to Indiana

Thursday and Friday were

exhausting and refreshing

spent the days

in Indiana

packing a cargo container

full of various

food, clothes and household items

for the precious people of Haiti

made some great new friends

visited and reconnected with old friends

saw AMAZING countryside

and was reminded

of how ABUNDANTLY BLESSED

we are…

Saturday we were blessed with traveling grace

and I was reunited

and warmly greeted by the little rascals

and Cowboy Dan

~who by the way

did a wonderful job with the rascals while I was away

and

is TREASURE I do not take for granted (#incaseyouwondered)

and tonight

I find myself

full of wonder….

what will be the theme of the next chapter of life?

what new friends or characters will be introduced?

will my cherished friends think of me as often as I think of them?

where will the main events take place?

I don’t know the answers yet

but what I do know

I’m excited

and ready

praying

believing

like Jabez

in I Chronicles 4:9 & 10

“Oh, that you would bless me indeed,

and enlarge my territory,

that Your hand would be with me,

and that You would keep me from evil,

that I might not cause pain!”

and it’s going to be great a great chapter

because

verse 10 says

“So God granted him what he requested.”

and I know

He will.
