cleaning ceiling fans (sigh)
is one of those
household chores
that I
DETEST
(and that’s probably not a strong enough word
to express my true feelings but close enough)
I usually put it off
until the dust bunnies
are piled SO high that they
begin to soar
through the air
and fall as gray snow
but the other day
while on PINTEREST (of course! like every other women in the world these days)
I saw
a tip
that intrigued me
Materials needed:
A pillow case
a step stool
How to:
Slip the pillow case over the blade
begin sliding from the inside
to the outside of each blade
and all the little dust bunnies
that usually begin to fall to the floor
(causing me to choke!!
and fall off of my stool)
INSTEAD fall INTO THE PILLOWCASE
isn’t that BRILLIANT??!!
now
it’s not rocket science
but to this wife and mother
it ranks right up there with
e=mc2
because in less than 10 minutes
this household chore
that I have been putting off
for at least
6 months!
is DONE!!! clean ceiling fans
and
OFF the to-do list
