the all too familiar
insistent, continual, monotonous, repeated question
“ARE WE THERE YET?”
our plan:
to tie the string
from head rest to head rest
with the
“Are we there yet?”
on the driver side
and the “YES!”
on the passenger side
and to move the car (I have a clothespin hot glued to the back)
along the string periodically
so the rascals can SEE
that we are moving
and that each moment we are closer than we were…
