we HEART the NASHVILLE FLEA MARKET!!

today was one of those days
I would like to hit “Repeat”  
to play it over and over and over

Bestie and I headed out early this morning
and spent the WHOLE DAY at the
Nashville Flea Market!!!

turns out
 some friends of ours
sell socks at the market each month
they called yesterday
said they had forgotten a box of socks at home
asked if we would mind bringing the box of socks
since we were coming that way anyway
we gladly agreed
met up with our friend upon arrival
to return the favor
our friend said 
“now I have an empty trailer if y’all find more than you can haul home”
(I’m sure assuming we would not take him up on the offer…and I hadn’t planned to…..and THEN maybe 20 minutes in….. I saw THIS!!!)

and found myself almost GIDDY
bestie recognized
“the look”
when I saw the price
I asked 
the woman selling this AMAZING booth
“Do you mind holding this a half hour for me???
  We JUST got here…”
 (her facial expression told me that she DID mind)
 I quickly dialed Cowboy Dan 
to see what he thought 
(because that’s what I do when I get all beside myself
because he’s level headed and I’m SPASTIC and IMPULSIVE) 
he of course said “It’s up to you.  You’re there.  I’m not.”
and though Bestie and I hadn’t been on the premises half an hour!
I just couldn’t pass it up…..

SOLD!

knowing THE DEAL OF THE DAY would not fit in Bestie’s suburban
I  chose to “phone a friend”
“Hey! it’s me…if the offer stands..I’m going to take you up on it!  I made a purchase and sure would appreciate it if you would haul it home for me”
He graciously agreed
we made arrangements for pick up
I expect THE DEAL OF THE DAY to arrive late tomorrow or Sunday 

YAY!

right across the aisle from my first purchase we saw this

simply saw a photo opt
 and took it

there were LOTS of photo opts
people and dogs of all shapes and sizes
fashion statements GALORE!
from heels

to hoodies
 that we bought on site 
it was COLD!!!!!!!!! brrrrrr!
(much colder than we had anticipated)

when it got too cold outside 
we would go in to warm up
