surely we aren’t the only couple
made up of a realist and
a fairy
surely there are are others?
can you guess which one can travel anywhere and complete any task in about 15 minutes?
and which one of says “no way.”
or which one of our list’s reads “TO-DO: tear out the back porch floor, replace it, tear down old fence and rebuild it”
and which one of us says “one thing at a time”
or which of us has multi-tasked
(schooled the rascals, babysat an extra, ran errands, a hair apt., wrapped gifts, vacuumed, laundry..yada. yada. yada) today
almost to the point of tears……..
and which of us offered to the other a consoling hug without words?
how about which one will begin to rant “what about _____?? and what about _____? and how will we ______???”
and which one responds with “it’s going to be fine babe. it’s going to be fine.”
and means it.
…which is which?
