‘clean up-clean-up everybody clean up’

you know the song? you sang it or maybe you’re still singing it to your kids while your SCREAMING in your head THIS PLACE IS A MESS!! SOMEBODY HELP ME FOR CRYIN’ OUT LOUD! yea that song.  Anyways while I was screaming  I mean,  singing the song the other day to remind the boys the Lord brought to mind how very similar the boys messes are to mine.

LEGOS everywhere (be near me Lord Jesus, be near) animals on safari, dirty clothes, muddy boots,

slugs and snails and puppy dog tails

that’s what lil’ boys are made of…

My messes are more behavioral.  Adult temper tantrums, lack of self control, grumbling, complaining.

Messy- just the same.

and yet Paul reminds us “When I was a child I spoke as a child I understood as a child I thought as a child but when I became a man I put away childish things. ”
