sister banker
sister nurse
and I
have encountered a variety of people
and heard some v-e-r-y interesting stories
in working with the general public

as have many of you

many of tales we have been told
 were true

 and some
I am certain

were absolutely
not true

now I LOVE a good story.

to hear them
and share them

but
after chatting with the sisters today
I feel that it my responsibility
to share this
public service announcement:

there are some things that you should never share with
your nurse
your bank teller
or your child’s teacher

some things really are better left unsaid..

  • like if you have had and/or are scheduled for a vasectomy                                    why not share?: that’s an inappropriate-awkward topic
  • and if u are double jointed in your elbows –that’s wonderful.  to tell it is one thing but to demonstrate unexpectedly is a completely different story
  • and if you read fortune cookies and believe them-that’s your prerogative…. but to carry on in the lobby in a voice well above a whisper about the end of the world and how that may affect your mother and sister’s birthday plans…well.  there’s a time and a place for everything.
  • and finally.if you have a SERIOUS bacterial infection that is extremely contagious..you should probably just stay home that day…errands can and should wait until you are feeling better

please feel free to add your suggestions to the list…

goodnight :O)
