People Trail

by Karmen |

the other day
while sorting through
our paper trail

I began
to consider
our
“PEOPLE TRAIL”

the people
in our lives
currently
and
those past
who have
ENRICHED
ENCOURAGED
or AFFIRMED
our steps along the way

we are BLESSED
to have had MANY
we CHERISH

here are just a couple
of our rare
 and
treasured relationships

YEARS ago-(almost positive it was 1998)
on a Saturday morning
a strong knock
on our screen door
from a man of tall stature
and a DEEP voice
came looking for a farrier
(farrier=a HARD worker,
someone who tends to horses feet)( NOTE: “no foot. no horse”)

this ONE man (who we came to know and LOVE)
soon referred
Cowboy Dan to
his son
and two daughters
who all have
or have had
LOTS
of horses.
This ONE particular family
has helped see THIS family
through many winters..
and still is today….

for their faithfulness
we are FOREVER GRATEFUL.

another ONE of our
relationship trail’s
began at
ONE man’s barn
which led to another
and then another
where Cowboy Dan
not only shod horses
but began a hay partnership
that lead to a PRICELESS friendship
and through this friendship
the Lord has used
these precious people
to AFFIRM our steps of FAITH
time and time again

an immeasurable gift..

my point.

All the difference
often starts with ONE.

and tonight
I AM ETERNALLY grateful
for our jewels..
each
ONE
on our PEOPLE trail

I have & always will consider you one of my people trail, we can stay absent from each other’s lives for years, then resurface & pick right up where we left off, usually right when I need a good Karmen talk!! I am so happy to have come so close to your boys & your life again & I love all of you so very much 🙂

Great thought. Making me stop and think of those in my people trail and how God orchestrated each and every encounter. How awesome and amazing he is!

Yes! Our Sovereign Savior is AMAZING! It’s comforting to look back and remember.
Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment.
