how easy it was to love your first love?

this morning we were challenged

to consider the parallels of

marriage and salvation

Revelation 2:4 “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

our pastor shared a quote from Vance Havner

“When we have left our love for Christ, and when love for Christ dies, love for each other, for the Bible, for souls, dies.”

we all are guilty from time to time

 prone to wonder..

my prayer tonight

to REMEMBER

FIRST, our love for Christ and HIS LOVE FOR US

HIS love never changes

never. ever.

 REMEMBER how easy it was to read His word when you first got saved?

How you couldn’t wait to SHARE HIM with anyone? everyone?

How often you prayed?!

How often you asked for His forgiveness?!

May I ask

How long it’s been since you last repented?
