A Little Salty to Cut the Sweet  by Sophie Hudson

I HIGHLY recommend this cheerful yet touching quick read :O)

by the way I wholeheartedly agree with the author

“Family is to be celebrated”

We’re living in a day where the term “family” can be defined in a variety of ways.  I will not be discussing the ups, downs, ins and outs of that soap box instead I’m going to share stories about the family I cherish. The good, bad and and even some ugly. Celebrating family, sharing a story a day the whole month of September. I assure you there’s plenty to tell..

Some will be funny, maybe wet-your-pants hilarious while others may just be just a smidge more than a little bit CRA-ZEE!

All will be true.

My hope is to share real stories and a bit more about the characters who have contributed to the sweet memories that I hold near and dear. Stories of how it became family tradition to dress as Pilgrims and Indians on Thanksgiving or why Cowboy Dan calls us “the singing idiots”.  Which I am more than certain he means in the most polite way possible (wink.wink.)

I hope you’ll make time to drop by because as I mentioned earlier, we’ve got lots to talk about..

and precisely why I’ve got to go for now..It’s time for our Sunday evening gather with momma & daddy and I haven’t boiled my corn!  They’ll be waitin’ on us at the table.

blessings to you and yours,

:O)k
