to what are you saying "no" …?

by Karmen |

this one was a little heavy, huh?

what makes an expectation unrealistic?

Confession(s): I am an overachiever.   I often (and by often, I mean always) have too many irons in the fire.

Certainly this is one of the many, many  reasons God sent me the calm, cool cowboy that he did, lest I die.

Because I say, “Yes” to things and people and opportunities that are good and great but all at once stretch the limits of my sanity..

Causing me to be more dreadful than joyful….

when that happens

the expectations of all of those things becomes unrealistic

we-can-not-be-all-things-to-all-people-and-be-any-good-to-anyone.

Right? Right.

SO-WHY-DO-WE-DO-IT?!

yea, I don’t have that answer….

This truth, this topic, is not new…it is one we have discussed here many times..

let’s help each other…hold each other accountable…ask your friends, your family

today’s question:

what good things are you saying “no” to in order to leave room for the great things the Lord has for you right now?
