A challenge for you : a new family tradition

by Karmen |

A picture’s worth a thousand words

These say a lot..
it’s almost itme…for the annual gathering of Pilgrims
and deep-fried turkey
 and Indians
 It’s a family tradition and I’m challenging y’all to try it….
 Make your own,
 find a feather
 It’s fun and funny.
It’s always a contest of whose best dressed and still everybody wins…
Bring a dish and a friend
 sing, give thanks and eat
and  laugh
because laughter is good and costumes are fun
y’all join in ..challenge your tribes to come dressed in surprise…
 Thirteen days and counting….
looking forward to another BLESSED THANKSGIVING!
“O GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD!”

What an awesome tradition… With my small, but tight knit, family we try to gather and share this holiday. It has been difficult but rewarding when we can share this holiday together. This year we will again gather but some family will not be able to attend. This is where prayer will have them there spiritually and in our hearts… I am thankful daily for the blessing of my family. I look forward to sharing the love of God!
